Friday Flashback...Way Back

Okay we are going to go way back into the first five years of my life. This is when I lived on the farm in Oregon. My aunt, uncle, and cousins now live there but they use the house I lived in as storage and parking.
Remember the old Pepsi bottles, back when they were glass and you had to use a bottle opener? Well I used to hold Dad's while he pulled me on the sled. It was used to prepare the garden for planting. And as you can tell I was a "play in the dirt" kinda gal. We also loved playing in the swimming pool in the side yard.
My sister Lauren and I pumpkin carving, from our own garden.
My first bike, banana seat of course, and our room. See some things haven't changed. It's just not toys now. Oh, yep, that's me in the toy box

10 year coming up

It is amazing what happens when your ten year class reunion is coming up...all of a sudden people try getting a hold of you and act like you've been in contact the whole time. I guess it helps to have a myspace account. Now I can talk to the people from high school that I haven't seen in years and would like to keep in touch with. It amazes me who asks to be on my friends list. There are a few that I never would have thought of. I guess it just goes to show that you never really know who you touch in life. Glad that I can touch them with God shining through.

Just the 3 of us!

Here is a picture from home. One of my favorites because it has my nephews just having fun. More to come later.

Having a blast

I'm on two softball teams this year...a women's league and the church team. Last night on the women's we won 25 to 5. Twice I should have been out for not sliding but was called safe because the person dropped the ball. However, I am wearing the effects of slamming into the people covering third and home. I love playing softball!
