I love them! Unfortunately I don't have any updated pictures of my house right now. You actually have to be at a place to take pictures. I will work on that this weekend though. Secondly, it's hard to take pictures of the great outdoors when the only time you see them are at night. I'll work on that this weekend too! I finally have a chance to sit for an extended period of time, so instead of writing more, I'm going to read up on all of you! My turn to be a demanding friend. Love you guys!

The last couple of weeks have been a little crazy. I have been working 60+ hours a week (which keeps me out of trouble). I am loving my new job as a paraeducator. I still am able to teach a little bit and am still working with kids. The main difference is it is the same kids all week long. That will take a little bit of adjusting and tweaking on my part. I taught Life Skills last Wednesday and I taught about pet care. Well, I bought a Beta for the class so we could take care of it the rest of the year. The kids each did a step in getting the bowl ready, putting the fish in, and feeding it. The class went very well. Unfortunately the fish didn't like it's name, Rob. Because the next morning he was dead and was bobbing instead. I flushed him down the toilet and bought a new one to take in with me on Monday. I also bought some gold fish as back up. Yes, I know, comical right, it made for a very good laugh on a very bad day.
Work at the hotel has slowed down a little bit. We are no longer selling out each night. This has it's benefits and it's down fall. Benefits-not as many requests for things when I'm on by myself, not so many calls for rooms, not having to call other hotels to find out if they have room. Down falls-not having the simple answer "Sorry we're completely booked for tonight", longer time spent on phone making reservations, and quoting rates so much that I am dreaming about them when I do get to sleep. All-in-all though work is great. I have had several guests come in from Oregon and one who could even name off my aunts and uncles because he lives in Elmira. It is definitely a small world.
I have been attending the WF football games and even ran into a guy (well, not exactly ran into, more like elbowed his knee) from Junction City. Although I have not seen him yet, there is a guy that Lauren graduated with that lives here and actually works 2 buildings down from the hotel. Within the next couple of weeks the Sorensons are going to have a dinner wehre all the Elmirans and Venetians can get together.
Cameron had his house warming party on Saturday so I spent most of Saturday at his place helping him get ready and just hanging out. He had a good turn out and his family stayed to watch some of the football games afterward. His brother, Perry, was up from Missoula so we went and did some shopping. The boys proceeded to buy DVDs and CDs. When we got back to Cameron's the boys and I watched 300. Good movie but one I will only watch once.
Today didn't slow down much either. Church, 2 attempts at deviled eggs, 1 failed miserably, the other was okay but not my best, lunch with the Sorensons, work at BW, and then it's be home to bed. Ahhh, for those of you who know me well, you know I thrive on life on the go!

Okay so here are the answers to the latest questions. 1. Jackie's not so subtle hint was to update my blog. 2. Cameron is the Dustin's oldest son. He is the one I hang out with the most. He has been a major help in moving to Kalispell. He just purchased a house in Kalispell so he has my washer and dryer.

Okay, who remembers the game where you said something you have or haven't done and if the other people have they have to put a finger down? Well, I have one that I believe every one of you would have to put a finger down...I've been 3 hole punched. Yep, you heard me right. One of my students was hole punching her paper and I was assisting, I just didn't get my finger out the way fast enough for her. She peeled the skin pretty good. At first I thought it would just bruise but it started to bleed and I was sent to the office to get a band-aid. It's pretty funny when you think about it and it doesn't hurt any more unless I bump it or catch it on my hair.

Sorry...I know it has been a while since I've updated the blog. It tends to happen when you don't have internet, the local libraries are only open during the hours you work, and you work 50+ hours at 2 jobs. Okay, I'm done with the excuses and hopefully done with the long periods between updates. So, here goes.
I GOT A JOB AT THE SCHOOL DISTRICT! Not quite what I wanted but I really think it's going to be a great year. I am enjoying my supervising teacher and the other para that I am working with. We haven't had kids yet, but that will be happening on Tuesday. I will even have a chance to teach a little bit and interact with several of the kids every morning doing Brain Gym. I will be working with 5th & 6th graders. Amazingly enough they are shorter than me.
I would love to say that my apartment is completely put together but it's not. And for those of you who know my cleanliness style, yep, it's the same. I did however spend some time cleaning it today, just so I could mess it up again with cleaning my car and cooking lasagna for Cameron and I. Thanks to him I am able to use his Internet to post this. That is the reason I am hoping there won't be such a span between posts. He is also using my washer and dryer, so no more laundry mat!!!!
I am still working at Best Western at the front desk. It has been fun meeting the people come in and I'm slowly learning the regulars. We had a group of 50+ Harley riders come in the other day. They were a fun group. I have also had lots of people come from Oregon and even know what I was talking about when we spoke about my hometown. Thankfully I only had 2 weekends of night audit (11 p.m.-7 a.m.) shifts. Now I usually do the 3-11 shift.
I went home to Oregon for a very quick weekend with lots of things jammed in. I helped my Mama with her garage sale, took my nephews to the fair, ran into old high school friends, went to my cousins wedding (ran into even more high school friends), had one of them use a classic line for finding out if I was married or not (I had to give him style points, he did it quite well), spent time with another cousin who leaves for boot on the 4th, and spent lots of time with my Mama, nephews, and Lauren. It was a good trip even though it was short.
Okay, so that's my life in a nutshell right now. Sorry there aren't any new pictures yet, I'll try to remember those tomorrow. Lots of love!
