Getting Settled!
Thanks to Cameron, Summer, and Adam I am all moved in and am slowly getting my apartment organized! It was fun moving in with lots of laughs and only a little bit of pain (mainly because I dropped my bed on my foot). The neighbors are very friendly and the apartment is close to several schools. I don't have a teaching position yet, but I did find a full time job for the summer that I will be able to drop to part time when school starts. I will be working at the front desk of a hotel in Whitefish. After moving everything into the apartment the boys took a nap and Summer and I put some things in order. Saturday night we enjoyed a night at the races. There were several accidents so we left at 11:10 before it was complete but we had fun just the same. Summer and Adam stayed until Sunday afternoon and helped me put my table and chairs together for my dining room. Summer took some pictures during the move in and I will take some more when I am finished putting it all together. Pictures to come!!!

2 Months Time
Summer proving how big my mouth really is. I can't help it, the Dustin men just keep me laughing so hard that my stomach hurts. Now Summer knows that I wasn't exaggerating.
A new cutting board for my new apartment.
So what else have I been up to for the last 2 months? Well, I've put in multiple applications for jobs in Whitefish, Columbia Falls, and Kalispell. I had a chance for an interview for an elementary health enhancement position in CF but was in Oregon at the time so they declined a phone interview and hired somebody else. I am currently waiting to hear about an application that I mailed in last week for a part-time 6th grade health enhancement job in Kalispell. The school would be about 10 blocks from my new apartment.
I went to Oregon for a week as soon as school was out. It was quite a trial to get home though. My flight that was supposed to go out on the 6th was delayed and then canceled after spending 4 hours in the Great Falls airport and I was rescheduled for a flight at 5 the next evening. That flight was delayed and I spent another 4 hours in the airport. Thankfully I was able to catch my connecting flight in Salt Lake and made it home 30 minutes late (24 hours from the original time).
My trip went well! I was able to spend lots of time with my family, including having lunch with my nephews at Johnny's school. After eating lunch with him and his classmates Travis and I went out to recess with him. We enjoyed jummp roping with Johnny and his friends. We were even asked to come back for the next recess. Unfortunately we were unable to join the kids again but Travis and I were able to go shopping with Lauren during her lunch.
My cousin JC had his high school graduation and I was able to attend. It was a great ceremony and the last one I will have to go to for a while! This also gave me a chance to have several meals with lots of family.
It's been a while since I had a chance to spend time with friends from home so I made sure that we had a chance to meet. I combined that with having pizza at Papa's Pizza. A wonderful local pizza place in Eugene, one of the places that I must eat at when at home.
The end of May I cleared out my house and put all of my belongings into storage. Memorial Day weekend I had a moving sale that was very successful. This gave me the chance to completely clean my house too. The first of June I moved in with Summer until I can move into my apartment. She has been very gracious in letting me stay with her.
Before school was out I was interviewed for an article in the Great Falls Tribune. I checked today to see if it was published but I didn't see it yet. It had to do with a program I started at one of my schools where the students could come in before school and do activities in the gym.
