Cheater

This morning while walking in the mall I saw a mother and her son walking. As the mom walked each section of the mall the son would run to the next corner. Several times when I would skip the hall that Herburgers is in the son would tell me, "That's cheating. Not going the full lap is cheating." I didn't tell him it is because their perfume is way too much for me. I just laughed and agreed with him.

If that classifies a cheater, then yes, I admit it, I'm a cheater!

They are coming!

They being...both of my sisters, Lauren and Genna, and my niece, Searra! On March 26th they are flying in to Kalispell. Lauren gets to stay for a few days while Genna and Searra are staying until April 9th! Yeah, yippee, woot woot, and any other shouts of joy you can think of.

Great Ladies

I have some amazing friends in my life. God has blessed me with some absolutely wonderful women in my life. A little tribute to them tonight.

A great friend. Even though we live far apart I know that she is there with words of advice and Godly wisdom when needed. Mandi took me in as a loner, accepted that I'm a loner, and intruded on my space when I needed it the most.

We share a similar passion for teaching and helping kids. Summer has inspired much of my own teaching. Many laughs, cries, and beating up male friends describes great times spent with her.

Stranger's Comment

It has always amazed me how a small comment from a stranger can make or break your day. Today mine was made by a lady that I see while walking at the mall. She owns a coffee shop in the mall and is often there as I go by. We have said hi back and forth but have never carried a full conversation. Of all the people walking the mall I am the youngest by far. As I was walking this morning she came out of her shop and said, "Looking good Kiddo." Wooo Hooo, great encouragement for me, as sometimes it is so frustrating, not being able to see the changes since they come in such suttle increments.
