It's an Oregon day in Great Falls, Montana today. For those of you who have lived in the Willamette Valley of Oregon or have visited there enough, you know what that means. Chilly, cloudy, gloomy, and of course rainy. Although not the terrential downpour that can completely consume a car in front of your eyes.
The rain is good and much needed here for the fires but you can see it in peoples' moods too, including mine. It's one of those days you just wish you had a fireplace, a great book, a slightly open window to catch the smell of the rain, and a guy to cuddle with. I have one of those, the slightly open window, not exactly the one I would choose first. So maybe I will have to go with what comes next, a nice soak in a hot bath, and then a nap in my warm bed. Then it is onto the school work...yes, even gym teachers have a little.

Wednesday Wonderings
Have you ever wondered why companies come out with New and Improved medicines but then still sell the old one?
Or, why parents send their kids to school to get smarter, yet when it comes to protecting that brain they want educated, they don't require the kids to protect it by wearing a bike helmet?
Another one, why guys think they are God's gift to women, when God created the woman for the man, not the other way around?
Okay, so these may be lame, but lets face it, we've all wondered at least one of these before...I leave it up to you to figure out which one.

Tuesday 10
I know it's a day late, I just didn't have time yesterday and it is a good one, so better late then never right?
Ten Reasons for doing Tae Bo with your students:
10: It's great exercise for me too
9: It's new and exciting for most students
8: Even the students who hate to smile just get into it so much they don't realize they are smiling and laughing
7: It's great exercise for me too - oh, I mentioned that one already, it may come up again
6: It is geared for all of my students K-5th
5: The students who normally drudge through gym class ask to do it
4: Students are far enough apart they don't feel the need to be touching another student
3: It's got great music with an awesome beat for exercising
2: It's great exercise for me and I'm in a way better mood!
1: It's on a DVD so I don't have to be the teacher...Billy Blanks does a wonderful job of keeping the kids attention and walking them through the steps!

? of Frustration
Okay, can anybody tell me why a printer will print one document correct, with the same rulers as another, but not print the other one correct. Here's why I'm frustrated...I have decided to print business cards with prizes or rewards for my kids...it's actually cheaper than buying them from the store. Last night they worked well, I printed the first side and then the second, only one sheet out of five messed up. Now I can't get any of them to print the second side right...urg! I've even waited a while before trying to print them again and it is still doing it? What do I do to fix it? Help! And all of this after I was just raving on technology. This blog was done in red because I am steaming hot right now with frustration.
